Big Billie's — Lift-Side Lunch in Mountain Village, Telluride

Ski boots, bike helmets, kids in tow — come as you are. We're at the bottom of the Sunshine Express (Lift 10) and the Chondola (Lift 1), serving Chuck's Famous Chili, burgers, sandwiches, salads and a kids' menu 11am–3pm. Order at the counter, grab a patio table, get back out there.

We're in the Meadows, right where the Sunshine Express and the Chondola let out. Grab a bowl of chili, find a seat outside, and stay longer than you meant to. Nobody's rushing you, and nobody minds the ski boots.

There's a Trail Named After Us

Big Billie's Trail comes out in the Meadows, and so do Jurassic, Russell and the Meadows trail. Prospect climbs to the top of the lift we sit under. If you're riding Mountain Village this summer, we're the hot lunch at the bottom.
